FCMB commences closed period



FCMB in a disclosure sent to the Nigerian Stock Exchange and signed by its secretary, Olufunmilayo Adedibu, announced that the Board of Directors’ meeting of FCMB Group Plc of the tier 2 bank is scheduled to hold on Friday, July 24, 2020 at 11.00am to consider the Company’s Unaudited Financial Statements for the quarter ended 30th June, 2020.


The disclosure read “Notice is hereby given that the Board of Directors’ meeting of FCMB Group Plc (the Company) is scheduled to hold on Friday, July 24, 2020 at 11.00 am. In view of the rules on social distancing and restriction on public gathering, the meeting will be held electronically via Zoom. The meeting is the regular quarterly meeting to consider the Unaudited Financial Statements of the Group for the half-year ended 30 June 2020.”.


The company has also commenced its closed period and restricting trading of its shares by those considered insider and their relatives/dependents. The company stated that, “FCMB Group Plc has therefore declared the commencement of a closed period for trading in the Company’s shares from July 9, 2020 in respect of the Unaudited Financials for the quarter ended June 30, 2020.”
